Janet Winston: Angels at the ARCO service station

A very special thank you to all the caring people who helped me on Wednesday April 27 at about 1:30 p.m. A very unfortunate misstep sent me flat on my face in front of the office at the ARCO service station at the corner of Nevada City Highway, and Brunswick Road.

I was immediately surrounded by concerned customers and employees who brought me damp paper towels for my face then when I declined a call for paramedics helped me to my feet and inside to a seat. One employee proceeded to service my car and bring it to the office door. Another gentleman insisted he follow me in his vehicle as I drove down the street to the Yubadocs Urgent Care; then walked me safely inside.

The caring professionals there soon had me carefully taken care of, and provided with follow-up instructions and a family member summoned to take me home. Thank you again to all those special angels.
