Jacqueline Finley: Vote for Hall for supervisor

On several occasions I have had the pleasure of talking one-on-one with Heidi Hall, District 1 candidate for the Nevada County Board of Supervisors.

I have always found her not only willing to listen, but also willing to listen to, and reflect upon, voiced opinions not necessarily those of her own. She does not jump to conclusions, nor point out where others are “wrong.” She has the ability to discuss oftentimes contentious issues in a polite and courteous manner, ensuring that she understands and appreciates other persons’ viewpoints and perspectives.

In these times of division and political partisanship, we need a supervisor with the ability to not only work well with the other supervisors, but to also communicate effectively with the general citizenry of this county. Energy is wasted and little can be accomplished if everyone is always butting heads.

Please vote for Heidi Hall for supervisor of District 1.
