It takes a village to build a trail

It was good to see an article about the new Scotts Flat Trail. Unfortunately, the story focused on only one group and neglected to mention the many other organizations who helped make this trail a reality. From my years of trail advocacy, I know it takes many hands to create a trail. It is best to acknowledge the enormous input of the different volunteer groups, including YBONC, BONC and the Bear Yuba Land Trust. Without their invaluable contributions, the trail simply would have never happened.
