Dysfunction Junction at the Grass Valley City Council

Dysfunction Junction erupts at the Grass Valley City Council.

Four major resignations — city administrator, fire chief, police captain and finance director — take place almost simultaneously.

As if that’s not bad enough, Grass Valley Mayor Dan Miller violates the law and states, “We thought it was the right thing to do.” But, at least he didn’t act alone. Grass Valley City Attorney Michael Colantuono in explaining the illegal authorization of $82,000 states, “We could have done a better job disclosing that.”

It appears to me that the City of Grass Valley would be better off with two more resignations — Mayor Dan Miller and City Attorney Michael Colantuono.
