Douglas Moon:Two great businesses help ‘Save Our Bridge Campaign’

Three Forks Bakery and Brewery and Wheyward Girl Creamery, both of Nevada City, recently sponsored a fundraising event for the Save Our Bridge Campaign.

Shana Maziarz and David Cowie of Three Forks hosted the event and served samples of their best brews. Barbara Jenness of Wheyward Girl provided a selection of outstanding cheeses from around the world in this “Beer and Cheese Pairing” event attended by a sold out crowd of donors.

All of the funds raised will go to support the continuing effort to save the historic wooden covered bridge at Bridgeport and to celebrate the grand re-opening in 2020. Nevada County is very lucky to have two businesses with such local commitment and generosity.

The Save Our Bridge Campaign Committee is so very grateful for their support.
