Dennis Sloate: Disappointed with current board

I am writing this letter because I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed with our current county board of supervisors. There is absolutely nothing, in my view, that any of them have the slightest clue in regards to the decisions they’ve made. Why is such a draconian and totally unfair measure “W” even on our ballots?

I imagine Sheriff Royal can answer that one if W passes. I haven’t a doubt that it will be legally challenged. When that occurs, how many of our taxpayer dollars will they then be willing to spend (remember Ridgeline?). Therefore I shall vote No on W.

For that and many other reasons, I will vote for Heidi Hall for District 1 supervisor. I also urge District 2 voters to vote for Richard Harris. Mr. Harris is a local business man and has many ideas, which will work well in Nevada County. It is long past time for a change on our board! Let’s do it.
