Chinese New Year event a success

Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra is to be commended for hosting an extremely successful Chinese New Year event in Nevada City.

Robinson Plaza was filled with a large crowd of celebrants. After winding their way down Commercial Street from the monument built to commemorate the early Chinese in Nevada County, five lions blessed the crowd for good luck and fortune in this year of the snake.

The lions then led us to The Stonehouse for excellent food and activities designed for all ages. The planning and execution is typical of the detail members of CATS exhibit with their theatrical productions and events.

We are fortunate to have CATS as a part of our community!
