BriarPatch grant helps Lyman Gilmore culinary program

Kudos to BriarPatch Co-op’s Community Fund for awarding a grant to our wonderful Culinary Arts program at Lyman Gilmore Middle School.

Culinary Arts provides an opportunity to explore cooking, healthy eating and food-related careers. This class can be the doorway to health, creativity and personal expression, and it could inspire students to consider new opportunities. Besides, cooking is fun! This grant can help our students visit local farms and food-related businesses.

We are fortunate to have BriarPatch in our community and to have its support for our students.
