Audrey Ohlson Smith: Don’t desecrate nation’s reputation in November

For almost eight years our country has been blessed with the leadership of Barack Obama, a man of the highest esteem. He and his wife have set an outstanding example, both politically and personally, of trustworthiness.

Our country’s image has been enhanced throughout the world. Now we have the opportunity to finally elect a woman for president, one whose credentials on the world stage are impeccable.

The possibility that we could desecrate our country’s reputation by electing a buffoon who shows disrespect for everything that is good in this world makes me nauseous! I am too old to move out of the country (to Sweden, land of my grandparents), but the thought of living in a country where people are so ignorant as to vote for this disgusting person appalls me.

Please think long and hard before casting your vote!
