Ann Driver for school board

I have enjoyed the opportunity of working closely with Ann Driver, now running for the Penn Valley Union Elementary School District Board, as she and I served as officers of two local community organizations in Rough and Ready for the past 12 years.

I have greatly appreciated her ability to seek answers through thoughtful and valid questions; I value her ability to calm heated situations with logic and insight; she has demonstrated on many occasions her ability to think objectively and creatively; she thoroughly researches any task she takes on; and she has always been reliable … if she says she will do it — she will do it.

She would be a perfect public servant in this position because she cares about the children in our public school system. She has demonstrated this as a Ready Springs school board member for the last three years, as a retired 15 year veteran public high school teacher, and as a grandmother. She “walks the talk” when it comes to public school education.

I have seen how knowledgeable and responsible Ann is on fiscal matters. Her prior tax background makes her uniquely qualified. I encourage you to vote for Ann on Nov. 4.
