Angie Pereira: Retired teachers still making a difference

I would like to express my thanks to the Nevada County Retired Teachers’ Association for their ongoing support for our schools.

Recently I was fortunate to receive one of their classroom grants, a donation of $100, toward my classroom supply budget.

These funds are greatly appreciated and will be used for materials that the children use every day.

This association visits our school each year to offer support in a variety of ways to both our active and retired educators. Thank you very much.
