Alfred Waddell: GOP voters lack diversity

One thing I noticed on the Republican presidential debate is the lack of diversity in the audience; it did not represent the 2015 America.

Even though I saw a great deal of passion, the eleven candidates seem to be blind to the need for a voice for every American; this alone shows the Republican Party is somewhat out of touch. It is my opinion that the 11 candidates exist in Ronald Reagan’s America; his America was a different demographic.

Having stated the above, for the first time in a long time, I view most of the Republican contenders as caring human beings; that really surprised me. I must point out the five that scare me, Sen. Ted Cruz, Former Gov. Mike Huckabee, Gov. Chris Christie, candidate Ben Carson and Gov. Scott Walker; they are either too religious or too anxious to go to war.

As for the Republican candidate/entertainer, Donald Trump, he exists in his own unique political temporary time bubble.

If Hillary becomes the Democratic nominee, the simple fact that she attracts diverse groups, would put her in the White House; her audiences represent the 2015 USA.
