A fishy tale

The State Water Resource Control Board (SWRCB) has forbidden the Nevada Irrigation District (NID) from filling its reservoirs until after April, 2015, meaning this winter’s water goes out the gate to placate Fish and Wildlife: Fishes, first — us, next — our food, dead last!

Reminds me of the three little piggies! NID being the prudent one, by putting adequate water storage in place to deal with Western droughts, while the politicians with an ever-increasing population chose to condemn water storage as evil!

Now that the inevitable has happened, the SWRCB has exempted San Francisco (home of Pelosi and Feinstein) from such restrictions, while flushing this community’s water supply down the river!

And then you have the state’s money hungry politicians pushing for ground water regulations, modeled after Santa Clara counties — you pump you pay!
