“Midnight At Mel’s” the 1950s musical comedy by Off Broadstreet returns to the cabaret dessert theater located at 305 Commercial St. in Nevada City. Performances are 8:15 p.m. today and 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $22 today and $18 Sunday. 265-8686.

Empire Mine State Historic Park tours take place daily. Bourn Cottage tour 1 p.m., mine yard tour 2 p.m. Park admission is $3 for 17 and older, $1-for children 6 to 16 years; children are free.
