Mardi Gras Celebration in Nevada City. This year’s theme is “Moulin Rouge.” Activities begin Saturday with a traditional Cajun seafood dinner from 6-8 p.m. and Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball from 8 p.m.-midnight at the Miners Foundry, and features a no-host bar for ages 21 and over. Music by the George Souza Band with Lorraine Gervais. Sponsored by the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce. Tickets $25-per person for dinner, and $15-advance for ball, or $20-at the door for ball.
