“Art From the Heart” after school program takes place at the Center for the Arts, Room 315, in Grass Valley, 3:30-4:45 p.m. Art from the Heart presents children’s theater, child centered productions, music and art for ages 5-8 years old. 470-8576.



Empire Mine State Historic Park tours take place daily. Bourn Cottage tours 1 p.m., mine yard tours noon, 2 p.m. Park admission is $3 for 17 and older, $1 for 6- to 16- years-old; free for children-under-6. Guided tours are $1.50 per tour for adults. Park hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 273-8522.

Tuesday Forum Political Film Series continues with “Fidel: The Untold Story.” The film is at the Magic Theatre, 107 Argall Way in Nevada City at 7:35 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Peace Center of Nevada County. $4. 478-0699.
