Let me see if I’ve got my facts straight: Planning Commissioner Conley Weaver is a paid consultant for the city of Nevada City. He has been paid thousands of dollars to consult on matters relating to City Hall and the railroad museum. But on his financial conflict of interest statement, he fails to show Nevada City as a source of income?

Oh. I see now. He lists Weaver Architectural Group, rather than Nevada City, because checks are issued to the business rather than the individual. Nice try, Conley. You’re exactly the kind of city councilman we don’t need.
