Learn to drive, pay attention

In regards to all the controversy surrounding the intersection of La Barr Meadows and Highway 49, there is an easy solution. Let’s teach people how to drive and pay attention. I use this intersection twice a day and have never had even a close incident with another car. If you can’t judge speed or distance, then go up to McKnight or down to Alta Sierra to make your turn onto Highway 49. We have enough lights in this county, but not enough good drivers. Bottom line, if you don’t feel safe, take another route.
