Latest slap in face of taxpayers

Am I the only one who thinks a 200-room motel with only 160 parking spaces is stupid?

What about the construction fiasco at Main, Bennett and Washington streets? Who would have thought weather would be a problem in December, January and February? Who would have suspected toxic soil to be found under a 30-year-old gas station? Two years and $5 million from now, we will see that this new alignment will be no improvement over what was existing.

In its latest slap in the face to the taxpayers, the (lack of) Planning Commission has again ignored the voices of reason and quality of life of our local citizens to cater to large developers (i.e., Morgan Ranch), literally paving the way for new tract homes in an area with already way too much traffic.

I can see why they no longer televise (lack of) Planning Commission meetings. . .
