Lack of services is dangerous

Are we really worried about the cost of running the county? How are we going to feel when Bush cuts our local budgets even further? These programs are already so short-funded that people like Scott Thorpe slip through the cracks. How many more desperate souls will resort to killing people to get attention when no services are available to help them? Do we really want to find out?
