Kind stranger

I’m writing this letter in appreciation for the kindness I encountered following a gas stop in Nevada City. I discovered I lost my wallet miles away and called the police number. Officer Goin called back within the hour, said he would check, and suggested I call the station next morning. Upon calling, Heather and Maggie said that a customer turned it in to Paul, the evening cashier. Nothing was missing. I am grateful to the cashiers, operators, Officer Goin, and the customer, who found my wallet, and did the right thing. They should have public recognition for what they did.
