Karma police

Kelli Townsend, you have a lot of nerve! It makes me sick that you point your finger in blame toward the innocent, accusing Cassandra Schley-May of making an erroneous decision that ultimately resulted in her tragic death on the highway (“Suspect in fatal crash denied fault,” news story, Aug. 24).

Cassie was not the one who climbed behind the wheel, liquor coursing wildly through her veins. You have robbed Mother Earth of one of her most beautiful and precious children. I mourn for her family, for the other driver who perished from your arrogant irresponsibility, and for your 5-year-old daughter, who must have had divine protection that day. Don’t look behind you, for the Karma Police are coming.
