Kimberly Judd and Jacob Vipond, both of Long Beach, were married June 15 at Chadwick School. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Bob Covollo.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Greg and Cindy Judd of Long Beach. She attends Biola University.

The groom, a 1994 graduate of Bear River High School, is the son of Steve and Linda Vipond of Moreno Valley, formerly of Grass Valley. He is a graduate of California State University at Long Beach with a degree in kinesiology and computer science. He works at Chadwick School in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Both bride and groom are members of Grace Brethren Church in Long Beach. The groom is the church’s music leader.

The bride wore a gown of white lace with pearls, matching veil and pearl tiara. She carried a bouquet of burgundy roses and pearls.

The maid of honor was the bride’s twin sister, Heather Judd. The matron of honor was her other sister ,Tamara Carlson.

The best man was Orlando Michelli.

The groomsman was Dan Ellestad of Kenya, formerly of Grass Valley.

The guest-book attendant was Angelyn Vipond.

Approximately 150 guests attended the church ceremony and reception at the Marriott Hotel in Long Beach.

Soloists were Julie Schumaker and Troy Judd.

Special guests included the groom’s grandparents, Benjamin and Marie King.

The reception decorations were burgundy roses and pearls. The wedding cake was decorated with burgundy icing and real roses.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.

They live in Long Beach.
