Journalist’s slant appalling

The Wednesday article in The Union about the fatal I-80 crash killing five members of a family appalled me. The writer’s attempt to make The Union readers feel sympathy for Stephen Scharosch and his Mustang was unsettling. The story began as a tribute to Scharosch and his love of cars; suddenly it changes as a tragic accident caused by an alleged DUI driving the wrong way on I-80 almost wiping out a family. This is not the journalism The Union normally practices.
