Izzy Martin’s character

Izzy Martin’s character is important because we have no way of guessing what emergencies or challenges will arise in the next four years. I feel more secure with a supervisor whom I know to be steady, thoughtful, cautious and able to make a quick decision when needed. I was impressed by Izzy’s concern and actions at the time of our tragedy in January last year.

It’s important that Izzy is a working mother and farmer because it makes her able to understand the problems of working people. She has the intelligence and determination to translate that understanding into appropriate action.
