Izzy has improved county’s finances

Before 1999, the county was in a shambles and plagued with financial scandal. Since then, Supervisor Elizabeth Martin has helped reform and modernize the Nevada County budget process so that now we have a balanced budget on time every year, and double the prudent reserve funds.

As a result of these wise decisions, we now have money to make up for the state budgetary cutbacks to counties this year.

Thanks for all the good work, Izzy!
