Ivy’s integrity exemplary

I don’t usually write a letter to the editor, but after seeing the article on Bruce Ivy and the tall tree controversy which suggests that he was not playing fair, I had to comment.

I have known Bruce Ivy, both personally and professionally for over 15 years. When he built our home we experienced nothing but truth and complete communication. Every meeting was documented and confirmed and we left each meeting with a total understanding of our next step in the building process. The result was a house that was built beyond our expectations. Having lived in it over seven years, there is not a day that goes by that we do not appreciate the quality and workmanship that went into our home.

I have also been associated with Mr. Ivy through my work at Placer Title Company, Mr. Ivy has never been anything but a trustworthy client and friend of Placer Title Company. I cannot think of an instance or occasion where he has ever given us reason to doubt his honesty and integrity. There is always an open line of communication between him and all of us at Placer Title Company. All of his business requests and instructions are very clearly communicated and documented.

I understand that problems do arise between individuals – especially neighboring property issues. Knowing Bruce Ivy as I do however, I can only do what I feel is the right thing and that is to speak up on his behalf.
