It’s time to appreciate America

Why do Americans get so much joy out of trashing their country?

I just read that America is responsible for anything wrong in the world environmentally. The writer must have access to every scientist on the planet plus a vehicle that travels faster than the speed of light to traverse the world and accumulate facts enabling percentage statistics to prove we are a dastardly nation. To my limited knowledge, the world of science isn’t in agreement as to global warming, ozone layer etc. Perhaps at the rate we are destroying the planet, we have only a few billion years left.

The sky-is-falling element would serve humanity much more if they were to use their percentages to equate our demise due to AIDS. As this is a product of homosexual activity, it is conveniently ignored. Humanity would be better served if proven facts were required, but this would end liberal environmentalism and thus must be curtailed. It never ceases to amaze me the people worldwide who use every means, legal or illegal, to come to this country which evidently harbors the scum of the earth. It’s about time these doomsday enthusiasts discard their political agenda and make an effort to point out and appreciate the wonderful country we live in. If this is impossible for some, planes and boats leave daily for the promised land.

Sharon Seck: Kudos to Yuba Docs

I cannot say enough good things about Yuba Docs, our urgent care facility in Grass Valley. Saturday about noon, a close relative had a close encounter with a chainsaw resulting in a pretty deep-looking gash…
