Is Clerk-Recorder Lorraine Jewett-Burdick

Is Clerk-Recorder Lorraine Jewett-Burdick trying to lose her bid for re-election? She isn’t the stereotypical self-serving politician -Lorraine refused to grant special privileges to an ex-county official who tried to use county equipment to make free photocopies of Recorder’s Office records for his personal use. Recently a political party attempted to submit election documents after the state-mandated deadline. Both times, Lorraine upheld the law and personally suffered politically. These are examples of Lorraine putting taxpayers and the law before her own political interests. I appreciate Lorraine’s integrity. She has done an excellent job and deserves to be re-elected.
