IQ test for voters?

Bob Giorgio

Despite all the revelations in your newspaper of President Bush’s corrupt administration, half of Americans polled still would rather vote for Bush than anyone else. Are the pollsters to be trusted? And if they are trustworthy, what does this say of the competency of the average American to participate in the democratic process?

If each ballot included a mini- IQ test and a passing grade was necessary for each ballot to count, perhaps then the election process would result in good government.
