Interactive meeting with Michael Moore

A local gathering will be held in Nevada City tonight in conjunction with an online, interactive, “town hall meeting” with controversial filmmaker Michael Moore.

Organized by local peace activist Loraine Webb, the local “Brave New World Conference” will be held at 7 p.m. at 10808 Footwall Dr., in Grass Valley.

The real-time meeting by MoveOn PAC, an Internet political organization, will be projected onto a screen for viewing, and participants can ask questions of Moore regarding his new documentary, “Fahrenheit 9/11.”

The meeting will be free and open to the public, Webb said, and refreshments will be available for purchase. However, capacity will be limited, and preregistration is requested online at http://action.moveonpac.org/f911/selectmtg.html?event_ids=145271.
