Nevada City’s Jonathan I. Wolff, who is serving on the aircraft carrier USS Constellation, spent four days in Seattle to participate in the 53rd annual Seafair event.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Wolff, the son-in-law of Linda Smith of Nevada City, is an interior communications electrician aboard “America’s flagship,” as the Constellation is known. Wolff repairs all the communication equipment, phone systems, amplifiers and speakers.

He is married to Smith’s daughter, Katrina.
