In the service – Kepler-Letterman

Army Pvt. Landis Kepler-Letterman has arrived at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, Md., to complete the wheeled vehicle repairer advanced individual training course.

The student will be trained to troubleshoot, repair, replace and adjust all related engine, fuel, air and cooling systems, electrical chassis, mechanical and hydraulic components, systems, and assemblies of wheeled vehicles and diesel power plants/packs. Additional instruction will include use of technical publications, tools, and diagnostic equipment needed to repair wheeled vehicles.

Kepler-Letterman is the son of Melody Kepler of Grass Valley and the nephew of Clark Landis Kepler of Menlo Park.



His wife, Shanna, is the daughter of Larry Maniscalco and Denise Maniscalco, both of Grass Valley.

He is a 2003 graduate of Bear River High School.
