In the service – Duncan

Seaman Joshua Duncan graduated from “Gunner’s Mate Class A” school in Yorktown, Va. Upon graduation he was promoted to Petty Officer Third Class, and voted by his classmates as “Most Inspirational.”

He is assigned to the UCGG Munro, which is deployed in Iraq. He is temporarily assigned to the USCG station in Alameda, awaiting orders for a class B and C school in Yorktown, Va.

He is the grandson of George and Pat Harper of Nevada City.
