In the service – Charters

Brandon Charters has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force after completing the Air Force ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) program and graduating with a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento.

Charters is currently assigned as pilot trainee with the 9th Operations Support Squadron, Beale Air Force Base in Marysville. He is to report to Laughlin Air Force Base, Del Rio, Texas, for undergraduate pilot training school.

He is the son of Brenda Charters of Nevada City, and Tom Charters of Davis.



The lieutenant is a 2000 graduate of Nevada Union High School.
