IN THE SERVICE – Bryant

Army Sgt. Chelsea Bryant has been decorated with the Army Commendation Medal for supporting the mission of Operation Iraqi Freedom II.

The medal is awarded to individuals who, while serving in any capacity with the Army, have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism, meritorious achievement or meritorious service.

Bryant, a flight operator, is the daughter of Cliff and Carole J. Bryant of Nevada City. She is a 1999 graduate of Bear River High School.
