Blunt

Charley Blunt graduated from Officer Candidate School (OCS) at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash., and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army National Guard.

The new lieutenant will serve as a member of the Oregon Army National Guard. Blunt has served in the military for more than two years.



He is the son of Connie Sue Petty of Grass Valley, and Charles Blunt of Oroville.

Blunt is a 1988 graduate of Pacific Grove High School, and received an associate degree in 2002 from Sacramento City College. In 2006, he received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Oregon University, Ashland.
