In the service – Armacher

Ian Armacher of Grass Valley is returning from his second tour of duty in Iraq.

Armacher, a 2003 graduate of Nevada Union High School, is a corpsman (medic) serving with the 3rd Marine Batallion, 3rd Regiment, and will be arriving back in Hawaii today. He will be stationed at Kaneoh and Bay Marine Base on Oahu for the next two years.

Armacher’s first tour was as a flightline medic at Al Asad Airbase in Iraq. His current tour was as a field medic in and around Fallujah, Iraq.
