Imaginarium features bugs and butterflies

The exhibit “Bugs and Butterflies in Our Backyard” opened Friday at the Imaginarium in Nevada City.

The exhibit includes more than 20 live displays of insects and spiders from Nevada County and around the world. Butterflies, crickets, beetles, scorpions and tarantulas are just a few of the critters to be seen. More than 100 additional displays show insects from the past and present.

The exhibit will run through Nov. 10. Admission is $3 for seniors and children age 12 and under, $5 for adults and free for children 3 and under.
