Ideas sought to help end violence

A brainstorming session to develop ideas to stop violence against women and girls will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Silver Springs High School, 12338 McCourtney Road in Grass Valley.

The event, sponsored by V-Day Nevada County 2003, will be led by county V-D organizer Andrea Fox and Shirley Kinghorn, who attended a recent V-Day Worldwide Campaign Regional Empowerment Workshop in Phoenix.
