I have been reading all the letters

I have been reading all the letters concerning different candidates and have come to the conclusion that most of the current supervisors are again trying to base their platform on affordable housing. They did that to get elected in the first place, and they are trying it again.

Affordable housing in Nevada County is almost nonexistent. The current supervisors are doing nothing to remedy this situation. Since they have taken office, rent and cost of housing have almost doubled.

The cost of building new structures is so expensive that the only ones who can afford them are out-of-area people that have made their money somewhere else. Regular working-class people (the ones that the electorate should be representing) are getting priced out of the county.

When are the citizens going to pressure them into changing their policies and permit system, and get back to the real world …?
