I hate local elections

I hate local elections. I know all the candidates, many are my friends, but I can’t vote for all of them. One vote, however, is easy this year. Denis Kutch is the clear choice for City Council in Nevada City. He is a reasonable person, with an outstanding record in the community. And he listens, which makes him an endangered species.

Overall, it’s a pretty thin ballot, I’ll admit, but nothing is more important than electing the people who have the most control over our daily lives. For me, that means the city council. And it means Denis Kutch.
