Horne does her homework

The change of Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, from Sue Horne to Robin Sutherland, is a minor change compared to other county business. But 2003 shouldn’t be forgotten, as complicated issues, like NH 2020 or the budget, required intense focus. No matter what the issue, Sue Horne did her homework. She wasn’t quick to jump to conclusions and realized the heavy burden on her shoulders.

That standard of performance is one all candidates should strive for, and it can be a measuring tool for voters to determine which candidate best serves them. If we don’t demand excellence, we won’t get it.
