Hoping to connect with old friends

My name is Stewart Henderson and I am trying to contact some people that I met when I was in Grass Valley with a basketball team touring the United States of America.

I did keep in contact with some people; however, it has been some time now and I was wondering if these people still live in the area.

The first person was Nicole Wheeler. The last I heard was that she had a lovely girl and her name was Sydney. As far as I am aware, her family still lived in the area on Indian Springs Ranch Road (I think that was the name).

The other family I spent time with were the Mayfields, in which the son’s name was Scott. I have tried to look at all information via the Internet in regards to the school details and also local information to see if I could find some details that may help me locate these people.

I hope to hear back as I know it was a long time ago, but I do regret not keeping in touch with Nicole. Her family and she made me feel very special.

All I am looking for is someone who may know them to let me know or them that I am wanting to connect again.

Any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me for further clarification at or shenderson@dodo.com.au.Thanks.

On May 29, I watched Nevada City’s amazing caretaker Miriam Morris starting to paint a river on Commercial Street’s pavement. Well-planted containers added to the beautification finally coming to a street that had been dug…
