Hooray for Sutherland

Just read The Union’s Opinion in the April 24 edition and see the start of The Union taking sides by belittling Robin Sutherland’s complaint of a bill from the county for $146.39, she did not understand. Just because 600 other bills were sent out does not mean the county is right. I have been dealing with this county for over 30 years and one of the first things you must understand is, they are not always right. Question what you do not understand as they will take advantage of you if they can. Especially Environmental Health. They seem to have the power to charge you whatever they wish, especially if the office is in need of money. Her energy spent questioning is beneficial to the community.

Robin should make an outstanding supervisor as she is already questioning. It pays to be suspicious. When we elect a supervisor to represent us, we expect that person to make sure we are not being taken advantage of. Good for her as she has shown me she has spunk and if I were in her district I would vote for her. I have seen enough of our present supervisors pressing their own agendas, regardless of what the majority of the people want. Those of you in her district that are on the fence, remember, there are times when a change should be made and now is that time. Keep an eye on those people that jump on small things as her opposition is desperate to discredit her in any way they can.
