Highway 49’s dangers

It’s not the road that is dangerous, it’s the person behind the wheel of the “weapon” they are driving. Do some of these drivers realize the devastation they can cause with their vehicle? No, they don’t. Do drivers realize how threatening they are being when they drive so close to other vehicles? I don’t think so.

I think there should be camera’s placed along Highway 49 which can be monitored by the CHP. Anyone who drives along or crosses the center line, and driver who harasses another vehicle with their reckless driving should be penalized in some way.

Why should anyone suffer the loss of a loved one because of another person’s carelessness?

The way I have seen some people drive, you would think the yellow lines are there for a guide, they follow them to their destination.

Remember: Arrive alive, drive fifty five.
