High school parents form advisory board

Several parents at Bear River High School have formed an advisory board to increase communication between parents, the school and the community.

Carolyn Hoer, a member of the new board, said she and a few other parents approached Principal Maggie Deetz about forming a board in December. The Parents Advisory Board plans to meet monthly with Deetz to share ideas, concerns and issues important to parents of students at Bear River High School, Hoer said.

Parents can contact members of the Parents Advisory Board to ensure their opinions are represented at the meetings.
