High cost of government

Shop locally: If Mr. Moule is going to have to pay $238,000 in fees to the government to build his new store and still pay his employees a livable wage, how is he going to be able to compete with the big box stores in Roseville?

Affordable housing: If the proposed road fee for a single-family residence is going to rise from $336 to nearly $3,000, how are we ever going to expect to offer affordable housing?

School mitigation fees: If school enrollment is really declining due to the lack of affordable housing, how can our superintendent of schools justify the last increase in school mitigation fees?

Wake up, Nevada County. It’s not the developers that pays the high costs that government continues to impose, but you the consumer.
