Herold-Champaigne engagement

Jamie Herold of Grass Valley and Kevin Champaigne of Daphne, Ala., have announced their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Michaele and Chuck King, of Grass Valley, and James and Kristi Herold, of Santa Rosa.

She graduated from Nevada Union High School in 2001 and received her associate’s degree from Grossmont College in 2004.

The future groom is the son of Nancy Higbee and Steve Schoepflin, of Alabama, and Earl Champaigne, of Florida.

He is currently serving in the Marine Corps.

The couple met in San Diego in 2003 and live together in Pensacola, Fla.

The couple plans to marry in Napa Valley in May.
