Here’s one way to stop the spread of many germs

I think that many germs and illnesses could be stopped from being transmitted in this way:

I have noticed in my lifetime that any waiting room you go to, there are numerous magazines and reading material available. Do away with these, and let whomever wants to read while waiting, bring their own. I see persons sneezing, coughing, blowing their noses, etc., then using the reading literature. And so the next person picks it up, perhaps even wets their finger to turn pages. Does this not constitute a great way to lay ills on other persons! And most persons give no idea about washing their hands after using these materials. So the next step is to put their hands to the mouth.

To remedy this would be to not have reading material around for all to use. Bring your own – to all waiting rooms anywhere. We would need a concerted effort at perhaps the state level.
